The Low-Line Market is coming back this season on Thursdays, starting June 3 – October 28.
From Block Club Chicago:
The market, which is presented by the Lakeview Roscoe Village Chamber of Commerce, returns June 3 and will run Thursdays through Oct. 28. It will be open 3:30-7:30 p.m. in June, July and August, and 3-7 p.m. in September and October.
“The Low-Line Market continues to be a favorite spot for neighbors to purchase produce, proteins, flowers and artisanal foods from local farms and vendors,” said Sierra Buffum, of the Lakeview Roscoe Village Chamber of Commerce. “By having local food sources within walking distance, the market aims to contribute to an increase in sustainability for the community and beyond.”
The market will accept Illinois LINK cards this year for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program. It will also partner with the Lakeview Pantry to collect and redistribute surplus food at the end of each day.
New vendors this year:
The market will enforce social distancing guidelines and mask-wearing to keep the experience safe for customers and vendors.
More information, including a full list of vendors, can be found on the Low-Line Market’s website.
