Looks like not all chains make it on the Southport Corridor. After a grand opening celebration in 2014 including Oprah’s Executive producer, Teavana Tea Bar on Southport closed its doors for good on Sunday. When we asked why they were closing, the folks in charge of removing all property said they had no clue. The Tea Bar concept was new for the company and only included 6 full tea bars in the country (including Southport). Did you frequent there often?
