Inaugural Friends of Blaine Turkey Trot

Grab your running shoes and gather the family! Friends of Blaine announces the Inaugural  Thanksgiving Turkey Trot on Saturday, November 20th at 9:15 am. All ages are welcome!  FOBTurkeyTrot21.Givesmart.com

There are a number of ways to participate:

Run/Walk the Race  Go to FOBTurkeyTrot21.Givesmart.com to register. Choose between a 5K or a 1.5 mile run/walk. Adult Racers (14+) run for $40 and Students participate for $30. All registered runners will receive a goodie bag filled with race day treats. Participants that sign-up before October 28 will receive a long sleeve dri-fit shirt.  Race registration includes a pre-race warm-up led by Kelly Amshoff,owner of I’m with Kelly.  

Sponsor a Runner Go to FOBTurkeyTrot21.Givesmart.com to purchase a pledge sign! Share with family and friends you have a little runner in the race! Tell them to visit FOBTurkeyTrot21.Givesmart.com and for $15 (or more), they can purchase a pledge sign that  both honors your participant and decorates the race route!  

Sponsor a Corner  Do you have a business or want to pledge as a family? You can sponsor a corner of the race  for just $150. Corner sponsorship includes a yard sign and decorations.  

Pie the Principal  The class that raises the most money (through pledge signs and corner sponsorships) will get  to Pie Mr. Russell after the race!

Friends of Blaine (FOB) is a 501c3 organization charged with raising money for capital needs of  Blaine, as identified by the administration, supporting every Blaine student. One such  fundraising initiative is the creation of an Outdoor Classroom at Blaine. Come explore the  space and see our plans before, during, or after the race! Every dollar raised through Turkey Trot will be used to support Blaine and its students.
