Zia announced via Facebook that their last day is October 3, 2021. The space located at 3817 N. Ashland Avenue will be replaced by a Transit Oriented Development (aka, TOD). Rumors are still swirling they may take over the former Blue Bayou space on Southport.

A restaurant deal is in the works at the old Blue Bayou space

How fast a decade flies by. Blue Bayou closed in 2012 and had been marketed for lease for the past several years. The property has been foreclosed on and we finally have heard through the real estate rumor mill that a restaurant is looking to move into this space.

We’re going out on a limb here, but expect the building to eventually be demolished for a new property including residential and commercial spaces.

How fast a decade flies by. Blue Bayou closed in 2012 and had been marketed for lease for the past several years. Time is officially up and the property is now being foreclosed on.

Frontline Real Estate Partners has taken over the property, and specializes in Real Estate Receivership. “When it comes to receivership companies, we take care of the custodial responsibility of a property with the deepest respect and consideration until the situation is resolved.
