Chicago City Council has approved a new mixed-use development at 3611 N. Halsted Street in Lakeview

The 12-story project, planned by DLG Development and designed by Studio Dwell Architects, will bring 188 apartments to the currently vacant site between Addison and Waveland. The building will also include a small ground-floor café, 77 parking spaces, 188 bike spaces, and 38 affordable units.

Chicago-area homebuyers woke up Wednesday to even fewer available homes visible online after Midwest Real Estate Data (MRED) cut off its direct listing feed to Zillow, removing roughly 43,000 listings from the country’s largest home search platform.
