From Ald. Scott Waguespack, “construction on the Lincoln Ashland Belmont area Streetscape project began on May 23rd. The project includes a comprehensive reconstruction of the public way with new street surfaces, sidewalks, street lights, etc. Intersection upgrades are designed to improve safety and accessibility for all users.
Work is currently underway on the west side of Lincoln between Belmont and Wellington and the north side of Belmont between Lincoln and Southport. The project schedule calls for completion in August 2023. Click here to see the full project information.
PLEASE NOTE: Lincoln Ave from Belmont to Wellington is OPEN for business during CDOT’s construction project. The sidewalks will be open throughout the project and currently cars can park on the north/east side of Lincoln.
