A year after we first announced Small Cheval was coming to Gallagher Way, the signs are finally up and construction has started in the former Maddon’s Post spot.

From Small Cheval’s website:
About Small Cheval:

“A casual, fast-paced joint serving a stripped down menu of the essentials – cheeseburgers, hamburgers, and fries. Condiments are provided by Sir Kensington’s, a purveyor of all-American condiments made with all-natural
ingredients. Guests can swig shakes, shots, beer and draft cocktails, and enjoy a spacious patio during warmer months.“
From Block Club, The new restaurant will be the first Small Cheval with a full-service bar, where guests can order beers and draft cocktails, according to Hogsalt. It’s also the first Small Cheval with a private dining space.
The Wrigleyville Small Cheval joins a number of other businesses in Gallagher Way, including Jeni’s Ice Cream, Brickhouse Tavern, Foxtrot Market and the Lucky Dorr craft beer bar.
Expect Small Cheval to open sometime this spring, and you can visit their menu options here.
