Culver’s is still coming to 1111 W. Addison, albeit later than the original proposed date of spring, 2022.
From last January in Chicago Business Journal: “The 4,300-square-foot, ground-level restaurant will be located at 1111 W. Addison St., which is one from the home of the Chicago Cubs on Chicago’s North Side.
Now the building is for sale for $36m according to Crain’s.
Culver’s was originally slated to come to 3500 N. Clark Street back in 2014, but this will now be home to Chick-fil-A.

From the Twitterverse, there is a growing backlash regarding Chick-fil-A coming to Lakeview due to their core values.
What do you think about these new fast-food additions to Lakeview?
Well, we don’t need the Chick-fil-a most ANYWHERE, but it will be nice to have Culver’s closer to convenient than where I find them now, especially as most Chicago restaurants don’t do pork loin sandwiched at all well IF even at all. Although Culver’s does still need to learn to dress them to CUSTOMER specifications, rather than the mistakes they keep making. IMHO.
