Proposed Transit Oriented Development (TOD) at 3647-49 Southport Avenue

Another TOD has been proposed on Southport in the current location of both Spotless Cleaners and Sushi Mura next to CVS. There will be a meeting on Monday, October 17 at Mercury Theater at 7:00 PM to discuss this development according to the Southport Neighbors Association.

From Southport Neighbors:

“Proposed Transit Oriented Development (TOD) at 3647-49 Southport: Learn about this proposed development, tentatively planned for 5 stories, 21 mostly 1 bedroom units, with 5 parking spots, 1 car share spot, and 42 bike parking spots.
This development is still in the planning stages, so it is extremely important that you attend Monday\’s meeting to learn all the details and to provide your input.”

American Mattress will be coming to 1354 W. Wellington according to the real estate marketing brochure for a new mixed-use development at Lincoln, Wellington and Southport. Here\’s hoping other great retail or restaurants will be joining this space.
