From YIMBY Chicago, “The Zoning Board of Appeals has approved a residential development at 3817 N Ashland Avenue in Lake View. Located along N Ashland Avenue, the site is bordered by alleyways to the south and east. Zia’s Lago Vista currently occupies the site, which is for sale by the owner. Mavrek Development is the developer behind the proposal.

Southport Ave from Waveland to Grace will be closed from 4pm on Friday through 11pm on Sunday.
Tickets are on sale now.
Thursday, Friday, and Saturday there will be concerts at Wrigley Field which will impact parking and cause street closures all week. Sheffield, from Addison to Waveland, and Waveland, from Sheffield to Kenmore, will be closed entirely beginning next Monday, Sept. 13th at 6am through Sunday, September 19th at 6pm. Additional parking restrictions will be in effect from 2pm through midnight each concert night. Guns N’ Roses will be playing on Thursday and Dead & Company will play on Friday and Saturday.

El Cap, the nation’s largest community of indoor climbing gyms announced they will open Movement Wrigleyville to the public on Wednesday, September 1 at 12 pm.
Movement Wrigleyville is located at 1115 W. Addison Street, just around the block from Chicago’s iconic Wrigley Field.

From MLB – It’s official. “The Field of Dreams Game is coming back in 2022, and this time the Cubs and Reds will get to emerge from the cornstalks.
Chicago and Cincinnati will square off in the second edition of MLB at Field of Dreams presented by Geico on Aug. 11, 2022, in Dyersville, Iowa, following the massive success of this month’s inaugural event. The Reds will serve as the home team as the National League Central rivals open their three-game series at the unique ballpark, followed by a Friday off-day before they resume the set over the weekend in Cincinnati.
