This spring, the Chicago Cubs will once again grace the hallowed grounds of Wrigley Field, but alongside America’s favorite pastime, a lineup of musical acts will also light up the stage during the summer months.
Kicking off the season’s musical festivities on July 15, Def Leppard and Journey will share the spotlight in a co-headlining concert at the iconic Friendly Confines. Def Leppard, renowned for hits like “Pour Some Sugar on Me,” saw their album “Diamond Star Halos” soar to No. 10 on the U.S. charts in 2022. Journey, whose timeless classics include “Wheel in the Sky” and “Don’t Stop Believin’,” achieved platinum status multiple times on digital streaming platforms.
Joining the ranks for this epic event is The Steve Miller Band, ensuring a night of unforgettable rock ‘n’ roll. Tickets for this electrifying show are available now through the Cubs’ official website.
Later in the summer, on August 13, Green Day will electrify Wrigley Field with The Saviors Tour, commemorating the release of their new album “Saviors” while also celebrating the 30th anniversary of “Dookie” and the 20th anniversary of “American Idiot” by performing both albums in their entirety each night. Sharing the stage with Green Day are The Smashing Pumpkins, Rancid, and The Linda Lindas, promising a lineup that will ignite the stadium.
Country sensation Luke Bryan will also take the spotlight at Wrigley Field on August 25, headlining his “Mind of a Country Boy” tour. Joining Bryan are Bailey Zimmerman, Tracy Lawrence, and Chayce Beckham, promising an unforgettable evening of country melodies. Bryan, a multi-award-winning artist and a judge on ABC’s “American Idol,” is rumored to be gearing up for a new album release ahead of the tour.
Tickets for Luke Bryan’s show will be available for purchase starting Friday at 10 a.m., promising fans an opportunity to be part of a memorable summer concert series at Wrigley Field.
Finally, Pearl Jam is coming to Wrigley Field on Aug. 29 and 31.
