This building was one of the first new construction 3 flats built in the Southport Corridor (1994). It has one of the best skyline views from the large front deck that you will find in Lake View or Lincoln Park. The large rooftop deck and the upstairs family room, large 2nd floor master bedroom and master bath were only allowed before the zoning changed around 1996. It also has real limestone accents, rather than pressed concrete in many other buildings built after it. The architects for the building were way ahead of their time in the exterior look and the interior floor plan. Both were copied consistently after this building and it's sister building across the street were built. The developer negotiated the backyard into Unit #1's contract for the original owner. So, over the years, owners of Unit #3 with dogs have not been able to use the backyard. Unfortunately, there were some serious construction short cuts taken by the general contractor, which resulted in some major downfalls to the unit and the building.
