Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) Proposed for 3200 N. Southport Avenue

From West Lakeview Neighbors, next Monday there is a meeting at Butcher\’s Tap to discuss a new TOD development at 3200 N. Southport Avenue, former home to Flat Top Grill.  This corner has been vacant for quite some time, and many businesses have come and gone through the years (Burger Boss, Knitter’s Niche, Flat Top to name a few). In addition to this newly proposed TOD, these Southport TODs have already been approved:

Que Syrah will be closing March 15th

Sad news! Que Syrah will be closing March 15th 😢. “Greetings All.

We are writing to inform you that we shall be closing Que Syrah Fine Wines on March 15th. Angela and I, and the dogs, have decided to move to Arizona to be closer to family.

It was our sincere mission to offer excellent customer service and great wines to our customers and we hope we were successful in our efforts. It has been a pleasure and honor working on Southport for the past 15 years. We will miss you all very much all the dogs, kids, and parents, everyone. We have been very lucky to have your support and business over the years.
