Smoked meat spot Wrigley BBQ closed permanently this month at 3555 N. Broadway, owner and pitmaster Mitch Liebovich announced on the restaurant’s website.
Founded in 2017, it featured brisket, ribs, wings, pulled pork, and smoked chicken. Liebovich writes online that he plans to move the entire operation to Palm Springs, Florida.
Kris Bryant wishes he could play the Cubs sooner than Sept. 10-12 at Wrigley Field.

Thursday, Friday, and Saturday there will be concerts at Wrigley Field which will impact parking and cause street closures all week. Sheffield, from Addison to Waveland, and Waveland, from Sheffield to Kenmore, will be closed entirely beginning next Monday, Sept. 13th at 6am through Sunday, September 19th at 6pm. Additional parking restrictions will be in effect from 2pm through midnight each concert night. Guns N’ Roses will be playing on Thursday and Dead & Company will play on Friday and Saturday.
