What we’re reading: Lakeview residents worried after 3rd shooting this past week

Crime and shootings are leading the headlines this week in Lakeview from all the various local news outlets.

The most recent shooting happened early Sunday, when a bullet grazed a woman who was inside a bar in the 1000 block of West Belmont Avenue.

Ald. Tom Tunney’s office (44th) said he was not available to answer questions about the recent shootings. He called them “unacceptable” in an email newsletter to residents after the Broadway shooting.
