The Chicago Cubs are introducing “The Yard,” a new feature in Wrigley Field’s bleachers designed to emulate the feel of a backyard tailgate. This semi-private rental space accommodates groups ranging from 4 to 50 people and offers high-top tables, unlimited beverages (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic), and a ballpark meal for each guest.
The seating, resembling lawn chairs, is complemented by coolers placed between seats for easy access to drinks. Positioned above the batter’s eye in center field, in an area previously used for concession stands, “The Yard” aims to provide an intimate yet energetic game-day experience.
Ticket prices start at $175 per person. The Cubs plan to unveil this new space during their home opener against the San Diego Padres on Friday, April 4.
