Amazon Books Business License Approved, Opening Mid-March

Amazon Books located at 3441 N. Southport Avenue has had their business license approved. Work is happening around the clock with windows up, shelves being put in along with general set-up work. We’ve been told by Amazon that they should be open around March 14. Amazon will also have a Stumptown Coffee Roasters included in their new space.

Target moving into Whole Foods Lakeview location Fall 2017

Crain’s Chicago Business has reported that Target will be moving into Whole Foods current space at 3300 N. Ashland this upcoming fall. From the rendering, it looks like CVS Pharmacy could be joining as well. As you know, Whole Foods is moving a block south on March 22.

Amazon Books getting a Stumptown Coffee Roasters

Another coffee shop will make it’s debut on Southport and this time, it will be part of Amazon Books. A permit has been issued for Stumptown Coffee Roasters located at 3441 N. Southport Avenue, the soon to be home of Amazon Books. Fingers crossed they will have an outdoor seating area.

New Business Alert: Paperchase is coming to 3420 N. Southport Avenue

After two years of the former Einstein Bagels location being vacant, a permit has been issued to renovate the space. Paperchase, a store similar to Paper Source based in the UK, will be moving into this location. They have been listed on Yellow Pages as well, but movement has been non-existent.

Lole Southport Chicago closing January 15, 2017

Lole Women’s Southport location at 3434 N. Southport Avenue announced that they are closing their pop-up shop on January 15 via Facebook. Lole’s space is owned by L3 Capital, so it will be interesting to see what take its place. Did you shop at Lole?
