Trick – or Treat on Southport – Sunday October 27, 2013

Annual Trick or Treat on Southport and the Pumpkin Party!

  • Pumpkin Party : 1-4 on Southport at Grace
  • The pumpkin party features, games, activities and pumpkin decorating
  • Halloween on Southport is brought to you by the Lakeview Chamber of Commerce, the Southport Merchants and SSA27.

Celebrate Chicago’s Artist Month at Southport & Irving on October 9

  • In celebration of Chicago Artist Month, the women’s caucus is doing an art show at Southport and Irving.

    Opening reception is at SIP lounge with two special cocktails, the Artessmia and the Frida Kahlo.


    The event will be on Wednesday, October 9 from 6:30 to 8:00 PM.

    Dinner special is $10.00 and includes a half pound heritage burger, fries and a draft beer!

Construction at 3428 N. Southport is Non-Stop

Construction workers seem to be working non-stop on the 4-story building located at 3428 N. Southport.  This is the site of the former Bell Studio building.  New retail space is yet to be determined.
