Discover CBD coming to 3527 N. Southport Avenue

Discover CBD, a Colorado based CBD store is coming to 3527 N. Southport Avenue, M2\’s corner space (M2 Boutique will stay in the middle area).

According to Discover CBD\’s Website:

\”DiscoverCBD.com has its home base in beautiful Colorado Springs (and now in Denver as well), surrounded by lush mountains and an incredible connection with nature. The company was started by three individuals that have long known the health benefits of CBD.  Each of the founders brings a unique and knowledgeable skill set to the ranks at DiscoverCBD.com:
  • A Medical Doctor with training in Nutrition and Family Medicine
  • An experienced marijuana and hemp Horticulturist of CBD strains and maker of CBD products
  • A Business Professional intimately in touch with the natural and medicinal supplement industry
All three saw the need for CBD and hemp related products but were never able to introduce the benefits of CBD to the general population through the medical marijuana platform, due to strict regulations surrounding the medical marijuana industry.  When it became obvious there was an immense need, as shown by the multitudes of entire families that were uprooting themselves to come to Colorado just for CBD products, the vision for DiscoverCBD was formed.  With the introduction of Industrial hemp-derived CBD products, they can finally bring the health benefits of CBD to the masses!

Our mission is to help EVERYONE DISCOVER the many benefits of CBD/Cannabidiol for themselves, wherever they may live, in an affordable, safe, and discreet manner.
We are excited to offer a full range of CBD products including CBD oil, tinctures, capsules, sprays, edibles, topical products, E-juice, and even CBD for pets!\”

The company has locations in Colorado and Minnesota, and is now franchising throughout the country. What do you think of Southport\’s latest addition?

3542 N. Southport Proposed New Transit-Oriented Development Appears

We said goodbye to Basics Salon earlier this year, and a proposed new transit-oriented development (TOD) has now appeared on Ald. Tom Tunney’s website for 3542 N. Southport Avenue.

From the developer:
“The subject property is located at 3542 N. Southport. The subject lot measures 25 ft. by 120 ft., and is currently zoned B3-2. The owner, Jack Duncan of CA Ventures, is proposing to rezone the property to B3-3 in order to permit a four-story mixed-use building with a retail unit at grade and three (3) residential units above. The proposed mixed-use building will measure 47 ft.-3 inches in height. It will offer an accessible rooftop deck. The subject property is located within 1,320 feet of the CTA Southport Brown Line Station and qualifies as a Transit Oriented Development. As such, two (2) garage parking spaces will be located at the rear of the lot.”

M2 consolidating

After 13 WONDERFUL years in this amazing corner space, it is time to change with the changes. I am consolidating and moving into the space next door, so I can focus on more creative, detail oriented, exciting stuff I have been wanting to do. So, I need to sell off as much as we can to actually FIT into the smaller space! Yes, there will be some changes, some the same, but this M2 staff plans to always be your GO TO SHOP! (at M2 Boutique)
