Target Out, Whole Foods Flagship most likely in at Belmont/Ashland and Lincoln
It looks like Target will not be coming after all, and Whole Foods is interested in Novak Construction\’s site at Belmont, Ashland and Lincoln. This proposed Whole Foods would be a flagship size, much like the one in Lincoln Park.
Crain\’s Chicago broke the story earlier today, and this new plan was confirmed on January 12, 2015 at the West Lakeview Neighbor\’s meeting at Mystic Celt.

News from Eater Chicago, The Spanish Square will be replacing the shuttered El Pacifico in early 2015.
“LAKEVIEW— Here’s a few more details on The Spanish Square, the business replacing the long-shuttered Pacifico at 1358 W. Belmont St. It will be a grocer and tapas bar where customers can sample some of the store’s items.
