Chicago Cubs: An emotional day watching Kris Bryant’s return to Wrigley
This development could be coming to 640 W. Irving Park Road

Revised plans have been revealed for a proposed residential development at 640 W Irving Park Road. Sharing sites with the existing Immaculata High School, the 22-story building will rise in front of Lake Shore Drive and offer residents unobstructed views of the lake. The project is being developed by KGiles LLC and CA Ventures and designed by Perkins Eastman with Level Architecture.

Sam Adam’s Lakeview Taco Fest returns this weekend

The Lakeview Taco Fest returns this weekend featuring gourmet and classic tacos from more than a dozen local eateries.
The Taco Fest runs 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, taking over the Southport Corridor from Addison to Roscoe streets.

Baseball players are famously superstitious so perhaps this particular Lakeview home held magic mojo for Wade Davis, Brandon Morrow and Craig Kimbrel when they played for the Cubs. All three pitchers rented the home, in succession.

The Lakeview zip codes, 60657 and 60613 are some of the most vaccinated in the country according to the CDC.
And from the Chicago Covid Tracking database, 60657 has 79.8% “at least one dose 12+” and 60613 has 81.5% “at least one dose 12+” vaccinated against Covid-19.
