Celebrate Kendra Scott on Southport’s grand opening party on Thursday, June 22nd from 5-8 PM at 3426 N. Southport Avenue. The shop will have light bites from Crosby’s Kitchen, champagne and a big celebration of the new store. 20% of all sales will be going to Misericordia as well!

3401-09 N. Southport Avenue TOD Development will start in 2018

As you may recall, this transit oriented development approved in 2015 will be starting construction in 2018. Planning had started back in 2014, and this new development will reside on what is now Galleria Liquors and Rise Sushi. Galleria Liquors is slated to return to this site, while Rise Sushi is not. Community Meeting April 24 to Review Southport Transit-Oriented Development Proposal

Another TOD has been proposed on Southport in the current location of both Spotless Cleaners and Sushi Mura next to CVS. There will be a meeting on Monday, April 24 at Mercury Theater at 7:00 PM to discuss this development according to the Southport Neighbors Association.

A second vote will be taken on the proposed TOD at 3647-49 Southport. The developers will be presenting a new design which includes a proposed 11′ setback on the fifth floor. SNA members in good standing for the past 90 days (photo ID required) are eligible to vote on this development per our bylaws.
