The Park at Wrigley is now called @gallagherwaychi. “Introducing Gallagher Way”

Hickory Street Capital is excited to announce a new partnership with Gallagher, a global insurance brokerage, risk management and consulting services firm with deep ties to Chicago. As part of this multi-year Legacy Partnership, the Park at Wrigley will now be named Gallagher Way.

Gallagher’s investment in this important community asset will ensure Lakeview’s town square remains a year-round destination for neighbors, families, tourists and Cubs fans alike.

Thank you again for your support of our community gathering space in its inaugural year. The park was named after Charlie Weeghman, who built it for his team, the Chicago Federals of the short-lived Federal League. When the Federal League folded in 1916, the National League’s Cubs moved in.

Taco Bell’s Replacement on Addison includes Planet Granite Climbing Gym

Here are the latest renderings of what will be replacing Wrigleyville’s Taco Bell at 1111 W. Addison Street. The first level will include street retail to be determined, and according to Tom Tunney’s website and renderings, Planet Granite Climbing Gym based in California will occupy the 2nd and 3rd floors.
