J. Crew and SoulCycle Construction Watch – July, 2015

J. Crew and SoulCycle are coming up fast on Chicago\’s Southport Corridor.  The plan at this point is for J. Crew to open towards the end of this year and SoulCycle early next year.

Confirmed: SoulCycle opening on Southport above J. Crew

As we reported a few weeks ago, SoulCycle will be opening above J. Crew on Southport at 3423 N. Southport. Confirmed by Crain’s Chicago Business:

“SoulCycle said it signed a lease to open a 4,000-square-foot spinning studio on Southport Avenue by early 2016. The New York-based company will open its third Chicago studio at 3423 N. Southport Ave., above a J. Crew clothing store in a two-story building being developed by Chicago-based L3 Capital.”

Look for SoulCycle Southport to open in the first quarter of 2016. What are your thoughts, neighbors?

As we suspected from our earlier post on J. Crew, we spotted blueprints of 3423 N. Southport with SoulCycle’s signage pictured above.  What are your thoughts, neighbors?

Retail Rumors: Could SoulCycle be coming to Southport?

So we know J. Crew is coming to 3243 N. Southport on the first level, and we also know NYC based SoulCycle is expanding into Chicago.  Taking a look at the developers website, we noticed a “SoulCycle” logo towards the back of the building rendering:

Again, complete speculation at this point, but would you welcome SoulCycle to Southport?
