The Zoning Board of Appeals has approved variations for a residential development at 3015 N Southport Avenue in Lake View. Located along N. Southport Avenue, the site is an existing surface parking lot placed adjacent to a public alley.

The property is between W Wellington Avenue and W Nelson Street. CA Ventures is the developer behind the project.

Rumors go back for years of Abercrombie & Fitch looking for space in the Southport Corridor.

Abercrombie & Fitch is coming to 3551 N. Southport Avenue, former location of Uncle Dan’s/Gearhead space. The company has been rumored in coming to Southport for years.

This development could be coming to 640 W. Irving Park Road

Revised plans have been revealed for a proposed residential development at 640 W Irving Park Road. Sharing sites with the existing Immaculata High School, the 22-story building will rise in front of Lake Shore Drive and offer residents unobstructed views of the lake. The project is being developed by KGiles LLC and CA Ventures and designed by Perkins Eastman with Level Architecture.
