Ready for Gelato on Southport?

Evanston-based artisanal gelato producer FRÍO Gelato® is excited to serve Argentine-style gelato to local consumers—now, from its new location at 3721 N. Southport Avenue in Lakeview’s Southport Corridor. The store will open to the public on April 14, 2017 with its regular business hours (noon-11 pm) and will be celebrated by the Lakeview Chamber of Commerce with a ribbon cutting at 4:00 pm.

Authentic Food & Juice and Butcher Block Restaurants Join the Southport Corridor

In addition to F.I.S.H Poke Bar,  Milk Money, Blue Crown Wings, Mac Royale and Melt 350, two new restaurants have joined the Southport Corridor at 3208 N. Southport Avenue.
AUTHENTIC Food & Juiceis now available for pick up and delivery via Grubhub. “Authentic Food & Juice makes sustainably sourced healthy & delicious artisan Sandwiches, Salads & Smoothies.” See the menu here.

Butcher Block is now available for pick up or delivery via Grubhub. “At Butcher Block we set out to make serious sandwiches and serve just the best damn food in NYC, Brooklyn and now Chicago.” See the menu here.

Ella Elli’s New Menu

Construction is moving full-steam ahead for Crosby’s Kitchen’s newest restaurant in the Southport Corridor and opening date will be March 7. However unlike Crosby’s, it won’t be catering to children (so, basically no chicken fingers or hot dogs will be found on their menu).

Per Eater Chicago,

“One thing that we hear more often than not, especially at Crosby’s, is people will say ‘oh I don’t go there until after 8 o’clock, I don’t want to be there with a lot of kids there,’” Dunlay, 4 Star’s co-founder, said. “That’s why we’re opening Elli, it’s more of an adult restaurant, if you will. It’s still going to have the same great service and great food, but it’s just not going to be geared as much toward family.”

Leafage Salads and Sushi Now Open for Pickup or Delivery

In addition to F.I.S.H Poke Bar, Milk Money, Blue Crown Wings, Mac Royale and Melt 350, Leafage Salads and Sushi is now available for pick-up or delivery via GrubHub. This new delivery concept is located at 3208-10 N. Southport.

Leafage Salads has launched in Lakeview, Chicago and is the purveyor of all things healthy, available for delivery and pickup from its N. Southport kitchen through GrubHub.  You’ll find everything your body and mind crave including signature salads, quinoa bowls, vegetarian sushi and a full juice bar with superfoods smoothies and freshly made juices.  For those focused on gluten-free, vegan or vegetarian cuisine Leafage was designed with your dietary needs in mind.

New Southport Corridor Pickup/Delivery-Only Restaurants are Now Open

The former Burger Boss at 3208-10 N. Southport has been turned over to a full-time delivery/pickup only kitchen.

Earlier in January, F.I.S.H Poke Bar started taking delivery orders and now, the kitchen has expanded with Milk Money, Blue Crown Wings, Mac Royale and Melt 350.  All menu items can be ordered online via Doordash, Grubhub, Uber Eats and Postmates.
