The Spanish Square Tapas and Grocer coming to 1358 W. Belmont
News from Eater Chicago, The Spanish Square will be replacing the shuttered El Pacifico in early 2015.
“LAKEVIEW— Here’s a few more details on The Spanish Square, the business replacing the long-shuttered Pacifico at 1358 W. Belmont St. It will be a grocer and tapas bar where customers can sample some of the store’s items. The owner wants to serve wine, but remains working through the design process with hopes of a first quarter 2015 opening. [EaterWire]”

Cullen’s Southport lost their lease
Sad news to report for all of you Cullen’s fans. They have lost their lease according to their Facebook page. It will be their last New Year’s so make sure to stop by for one last Guinness. Look for a final closing in early 2015.
