As we announced back in July, Framebridge is coming to Southport Avenue and is now hiring.

“Our mission is to make it easy for you to tell your story by framing the things you love. We hope you have a home or office that is personal to you and reflects the things that make you happy.”
We expect a late Fall/early winter opening in the former Suvarna location, next to Crosby’s Kitchen and k. hall designs / U.S. Apothecary.

About Framebridge from Architectural Digest:
Framebridge Launches Site That Offers Chic Frames
A new company’s website and app help users find the perfect frame
The adage may be “Don’t judge a book by its cover,” but it’s nearly impossible not to judge a piece of art by its frame. Perhaps that’s why framing something is always such a time-consuming, angst-ridden task. There’s so much riding on it—the frame sets the tone, brings your eye in, and basically changes everything.
Luckily, a newly launched online company called Framebridge hopes to alleviate at least some of the pressure by offering a variety of chic options in custom sizes delivered in two weeks. The easy-to-navigate site and app lead you step-by-step through the process; there’s even an option for a designer consultation if you’re not sure what will work best for your piece.

Choices range from superbasic black or white frames to more eclectic styles, such as gold bamboo and distressed whitewashed frames. Other millennial conveniences include Instagram-size frames and the option to upload your photo for Framebridge to print.
The framed piece arrives with acid-free matting, UV-protective acrylic, felt pads on the backing, and even a kit with the proper nail for the size of the piece. So go ahead, start plotting your next gallery wall. It won’t take as long as you think. framebridge.com
